Stainless steel construction

Our HG-FJ-500L uses SUS304 stainless steel. The inner tank thickness is 3.0mm and the external thickness is 2.5mm. The tank has an external size of Ø1060 × 2400mm and weighs 300kg.

The internal surface roughness can be provided at Ra ≤0.8 μm for ground surfaces or Ra ≤0.5 μm for polished surfaces according to the selected specification.

These specifications help determine whether the tank is suitable for the available installation space and the required production configuration.

Flexible fittings and accessories

Our 500L fermentation tank uses a modular cylindrical-conical design. The configuration can include a manhole, butterfly valve, sample valve, safety valve, venting valve, thermometer socket, manometer, and filling-level indicator.

We can also configure features such as racking arms, hop ports, and additional tri-clamp fittings according to the production requirements.

This modular approach allows the tank to be adapted to the intended process instead of forcing every brewery to use exactly the same configuration.

Cooling and Temperature Control for 500L Fermentation

Jacket section cooling

The HG-FJ-500L uses jacket section cooling with a 1.8m² heat exchange area. Water or glycol can be used as the cooling medium, and PUR insulation can be configured according to the tank and operating environment.

The cooling arrangement should match the brewery's overall process and available cooling equipment.

Temperature monitoring

The tank can be equipped with a thermometer socket for installing a temperature sensor or thermometer.

An adjustable pressure valve with a glycerine manometer is also available for controlled fermentation. These features make it easier to monitor and manage the tank during production.

How Do Pressure and Cleaning Features Support Fermentation?

Pressure management and cleaning access are practical considerations for a working fermentation system.

Working and test pressure

The HG-FJ-500L has a working pressure of 0.09MPa and a test pressure of 0.2MPa. The tank can also be configured with an adjustable pressure valve, safety valve, venting valve, and manometer.

The safety valve provides overpressure and vacuum protection, while the venting valve supports safe tank venting and pressure measurement.

Sampling and CIP

The tank can be equipped with a cleanable and sanitizable sample valve for collecting product samples.

Reliable CIP is also an important part of the tank configuration. We can configure the tank with suitable fittings and cleaning arrangements according to the customer's production requirements.

For regular brewery operation, these details make daily cleaning, sampling, and process monitoring easier to manage.
