Tanks for fish (oil) storage
A storage tank for raw fish or fish oil can also serve for transshipment purposes. The fish or fish oil can be offloaded directly from the ship and stored until it is collected or before undergoing further processing.
We can design and produce your storage tanks completely to your specifications. Fish oil storage tanks are often fitted with insulation, a heating spiral or a dimple jacket.
We fabricate fish oil tanks in volumes from 50 m3 to 4000 m3.
Choice of materials
Storage of fish oil usually takes place in coastal areas, so tanks are often manufactured from 316(L) or duplex steel to provide higher corrosion resistance in salt water environments.
In whatever case, our tanks are constructed from stainless steel. This can be 304(L) or 316(L) stainless steel, but also duplex. We listen carefully to your needs, for example, the specific hygiene and environmental factors in situ. All our products can be polished or ground, as required.
